Except by special permission of the Court, male officers (including attorneys, clerks, bailiffs and court reporters) of the Court shall wear coats and ties. The attire of female officers (including attorneys, clerks, bailiffs and court reporters) shall be equally suitable.! 1.7 XGestures, facial expressions or sounds indicating approval or disapproval of any person, act or proceeding are not permitted.! 1.8 XParticipants in all proceedings shall be prompt.h 1.9 XAll officers of the Court should avoid addressing each other with familiarity, should use appropriate titles and avoid the use of first names during court proceedings.! 1.10 XNo reading shall be permitted by participants in court proceedings except as may be related to the proceeding before the Court.! 1.11 XParticipants in interrogation shall not chew gum.h 1.12 XCounsel shall instruct parties not to directly contact the Judge concerning pending matters.! 1.13 XCounsel shall be responsible to advise their clients and witnesses of these rules to avoid embarrassment and delay.!
