The intent of this section is to create a charge bank accessible by both the judges and attorneys practicing in the 33rd/424th. Individual charges or portions thereof will be uploaded from time to time either from actual charges or drafts.
It is possible to have your jury service postponed to a future date. You will find a link below by which you can make that request via email if this is your first request. If you have already requested a postponement from your date, you must contact the clerk's office directly.
I often have questions about how alternate jurors are to be selected, and how additional peremptory strikes are to be used. The answer is found at Section 62.020(e) of the Government Code:

This supplemental charge was given in response to a question by the jury about whether the term "permanent" in the PMC question meant that it could never be changed. All sides agreed to this language which is a paraphrase of FC Sect. 156.101. Comments are invited. It occurs to me that this may be an appropriate addition to the main charge language.
