A lot of "players" dance upon the stage of the Court system. Lawyers, of course, law enforcement officers, clerks, coordinators ... many others. And juvenile probation officers. JPOs they're called.

JPOs are among the most dedicated people in the system because they do what they do for all the right reasons -- to make a difference in lives that can make a difference in the future of all of us: children. Here (presented anonymously) is the story of an event in the life of one such JPO with whom it has been my privilege to be associated.
